OVERVIEW
1/8-scale buggy and truggy racers can get powerful acceleration, superb top speed, and consistent performance with the Hobbywing Xerun Sensored Brushless System. The Xerun ESC is a 2S-6S compatible 150-amp controller designed for the racetrack. With a 0.0002-ohm resistance, it can handle 1/8-scale racing, 1/5-scale, and monster trucks with ease. It is also compatible with both sensored and sensorless motors, and provides a 5.75V 3-amp switching BEC to keep your radio electronics connected.
Thick 10-gauge wire with 5mm gold bullet plugs are pre-installed, and the battery wires are pigtailed with not one but two Deans-compatible plugs, for those of you who run two packs at a time. A 25mm cooling fan keeps temperatures down, and a sensor port cover keeps dust out when you use sensorless motors.
The Xerun 2200Kv motor is as tough as the ESC, starting with its anodized aluminum motor can with built-in cooling fins. The reinforced motor wires also have 5mm gold bullet plugs pre-installed, and they exit the motor through a reinforced port. The Xerun motor has a 5x18mm output shaft, and an extra long sensor wire is included.
Fine tune your ESC setup with the Xerun ESC programming card, which lets you adjust ESC parameters with or without a laptop or PC. You can adjust running mode, drag brake force, voltage cut-off, start mode, maximum brake force, maximum reverse force, initial braking force, neutral range (dead band), brushless motor timing, thermal protection, motor rotation, and LiPo cell count. All parameters are set using four buttons and the programming card LEDs. A USB cable is also included to make even finer adjustments using a laptop PC.
Also included in the box: USB cable for PC interface, 13T MOD1 pinion gear, 21T 32-pitch pinion gear, ESC mounting plate, double-sided tape, heat shrink, wire ties, and mounting screws.
