Need more stopping power for your HPI Baja 5B, 5T, or 5B 2.0? Most of the braking on real cars is done up front, so get the same stopping performance and with our Billet Machined Hydraulic Front Brake System. This kit uses hydraulic fluid instead of cables for consistent and powerful braking. A pair of large rotor disc brakes bolt to the front wheels of your Baja, effectively tripling your braking power.
The Billet aluminum alloy brakes feature dual brake pads, drilled disc rotors, new aluminum alloy brake actuator, aluminum alloy splitter, and external bleed kit. The Hydraulic Front Brake System is pre-filled and ready to install. available in red, green, orange, purple, silver, or blue and includes all installation hardware.
IMPORTANT INFO REGARDGING BRAKE FLUID: Only use genuine Shimano Hydraulic Mineral Oil (pink fluid) when bleeding or refilling the brake lines. Do NOT use and automotive grade DOT-based brake fluid, and do NOT use other brand mineral oil or substitutes; if you do not use the fluid specified, you will void the warranty.
NOTE: To install these hydraulic brakes, you will need our T6802 Ext. Front Wheel Adapters. Some parts include new hardware where applicable, but some parts are designed to use your original hardware and fasteners.
