Good component
I bought the alloy radio box for my Savage X. The box looks really good and is sturdy. It allows for all the functions that the stock radio does. Overall I am impressed.

a decent upgrade
I got this radio box recently and am overall happy. The thickness is good but comes at the expense of some internal space. One complaint I have however is that the box needs two tiny screws, one on each opposing side, to close properly. The designer could have used a clamp mechanism for one side to make life easier on the user.
