Bryan –
Excellent Gearbox.
No one knew if the SSD 2 Speed Gears would work with the Integy Gearbox. For the Cheap $$ I thought I would try it. Well the gears didn’t fit,the gears rubbed 2 or 3 areas in the Nose cap. But I wanted to see if I could make it work. I pulled out my Rotary Tool and put a 1/4″ drum sander on it. I started to sand and grind inside the nose piece little bit at a time then assembled the gears to check clearances and after a half dozen or more tries, all the gears turned freely. Not going to lie but it probably took me at least 4 or more hours to complete because every time I sanded the case I had to vacuum all the shavings before I did a trial fit with the gears.
This is an awesome looking case
I would’ve given 5 Stars if it worked without any mods.
