OVERVIEW
Ready to jump into RC drifting? Here is the machine to get you on the right track. Starting with a durable, molded tub chassis that has cooling vents built-in, the first thing you will notice is the blue anodized aluminum drive shaft that sends power to the front and rear solid spool differentials. An aluminum motor heatsink plate keeps temperatures in check, and uses a cam-style rotating motor clamp for easy gear mesh setting. A full set of universal drive shafts transmit power to all four corners, which feature 45-degree solid drift tires, chrome wheels, and simulated chrome brake discs for good looks.
On the suspension side, you get aluminum threaded body shocks that are oil-filled, and feature adjustable spring tension and ride height. Standard adjustments include turnbuckle-equipped front and rear camber, front and rear caster, front and rear toe, adjustable wheelbase and variable shock position. The lower suspension arms feature an adjustable lower mount that allows you to alter the length of the arms, which in turn changes the width of the chassis for better handling. Finally, the front and rear suspension uses identical parts, saving room in your pit box for spares.
Steering is via a dual bellcrank system, which rotates on ball bearings for smoothness. Speaking of ball bearings, the chassis is fully equipped throughout for less resistance and more efficiency. Front and rear molded bumpers are standard, with the front having the extra protection of a high density foam bumper. The chassis will accept any standard-sized 1/10-scale servo, and is compatible with NiCd, NiMH, and LiPo battery packs.
